First Launch and Galleries
On your first launch you will need to add a “gallery” folder to MetadataAI.
You can add many galleries. Each gallery is automatically monitored by MetadataAI for any new images that are added to it.
- Click the “add gallery” button to launch the file finder window and navigate to a folder* in your file system where you have images you want to view in MetadataAI for processing.
*If you don’t already have a folder with images set up that contains your images, you must go directly to your files and create a new folder and add images. Then return to MetadataAI to select the folder to add as a gallery.
Click Open to add the folder as a gallery and to give MetadataAI access to it for monitoring and image processing.
Add images directly into the folder in the file system so they will appear in the MetadataAI grid.
- You will see the images in the grid just as they appear in the selected folder. When new images are added to the folder, they will appear here in the Gallery grid.
- You can add new galleries whenever you need. They will all be displayed in the left‑side menu.
- Click on an image thumbnail to open the image‑details screen for metadata processing.
