Prompting
Prompt files are specific instructions for the AI model to follow.

Prompts
- Prompt files are specific instructions for the AI model to follow when analyzing and processing images for metadata. You can select the prompt you want to use and switch them at any time to find the context and tone you prefer.
- Click the “new prompt” button to open the prompts screen. The prompts screen gives you several prompt themes to start with — you can create your own custom prompt or modify existing ones.
- The instructions field gives the AI model more direction on how to process the image and generate the metadata. If you are unsure how to customize the instructions, feel free to leave the existing instructions as they appear.
- Facial recognition, Wikipedia link, GPS, and output language are configurations designed to enhance metadata even further. Please note that facial recognition uses additional AI resources and will utilize an additional credit if enabled.
- AI temperature is a creative constraint control for metadata processing. A lower slider value produces more standard metadata; a higher slider value gives the AI more creative control to tell broader stories in the metadata output.
- Recognition threshold is connected to facial recognition. It only applies when facial recognition is enabled. Keep the slider high to get more certain results from the recognition processing. A lower slider value makes the AI more likely to return uncertain results for less‑recognized faces.
- Custom fields are available to add if you have specific data you would like processed and added to the image metadata.

New Prompt
The new prompt screen is where you will find options to use existing base prompts with AI instructions. You can use the default names of prompts or rename them to suit your needs.
- Click a base prompt button to display and activate the base‑prompt instruction.
- Click “custom” to create your own, new prompt from scratch.
- In the prompt instructions field you will see all of the specific prompt information that will be provided to the AI at processing. You can adjust and modify the instructions to suit your metadata output needs. If you are unsure how to adjust or improve the instructions, feel free to experiment with the existing instructions and see what works best.
- Click the “Create Prompt” button to save your prompt.
